A Walk Worth Remembering
Every year, people across America unite for the "Walk Against Hate", a powerful stand for unity and peace. Over its decade-long existence, this event has not only fostered community solidarity but has also amassed an impressive $3 million in contributions.

Designing the logo came with its unique set of challenges. It needed to seamlessly incorporate ADL's signature font and colors, all while balancing a professional look with a touch of family-friendly charm.
The earlier design had significant hurdles. Beyond the shoe motif and the hard-to-decipher handwritten text, there was an overarching issue of brand inconsistency. The predominant yellow used in the "Walk Against Hate" logo clashed with ADL's corporate identity, making it appear disjointed from the organization's core branding. Such inconsistency could dilute the impact and recognition of both brands.
To realign "Walk Against Hate" more closely with ADL's broader brand identity, it was imperative to emphasize the initiative's positive, proactive spirit and bring in design elements that spoke of forward movement. Taking inspiration from the event's motto, "Walk in the right direction", the design process led to the creation of a pictogram that moves from left to right, symbolizing progress and determination.
Subsequently, once the core logo and icon were established, I introduced variations centered around our mascot, "Bluey". Engaged in diverse activities across the brand, Bluey is the embodiment of energy, continuous motion, and proactive engagement.
